Tex Beneke, with the assistance of other musicians, performs works spanning his long-term career as a tenor saxophonist, singer, and bandleader, who was a leader of the Glenn Miller Orchestra. A biographical documentary film tribute precedes the concert. The film includes an interview with George Simon, a close friend of Glenn Miller and the author of Miller's biography. Simon speaks about Glenn Miller and his orchestra.
