- Summary
- Oskar Eustis, artistic director of the Public Theater, discusses his work with journalist Jeremy McCarter. He identifies some of the goals he has met since taking his position in 2005, such as the increased use of the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, and the development of programs for emerging playwrights. He talks about his staff and the organization's future plans, such as the renovation of the Public's downtown space on Lafayette Street, and also discusses his experiences working on several significant productions, including Tarell Alvin McCraney's Brother/sister trilogy, various projects with Tony Kushner, and Stephen Sondheim's Road show.
