"Five hours to Simla a été imprimé en août 1998 sur les presses de Julio Soto, Impresor, Madrid. La conception graphique de l'ouvrage est l'œuvre de Jacques Le Scanff. Les photographies ont été tirées par Sarah Jenkins, New York. Certains exemplaires sont enrichis, en outre, d'un boîtier original d'Ettore Sottsass, réalisé par les ateliers de la Mourmans Gallery, Maastricht. Chacun des cinquante-cinq exemplaires, illustré de quatre tirages photographiques, est signé par Anita Desai et Mary Ellen Mark"--Colophon.
Printed in light orange on 2 bifolia and 4 trifolded sheets of ivory paper.
Illustrations: 4 mounted photographic prints : b&w ; 26 x 21 cm. Mounted with clear Mylar photo corners and matted; mats are formed from the third leaf in a trifolded sheet. Inscribed in pencil on verso with subjects: Mourning boy, Benares, India, 1989; Jodhpur, India, children in costume, 1990; parrot trainer, Indian circus, India, 1989; Jodhpur, India, monkey trainer with monkey in dress, 1990.
