- "The edition is 40 numbered copies, plus 10 hors de commerce copies (I-X) for the contributors. Copies 1-15 include a copy of Reg [Lissel]'s portrait printed chine collé and initialed by Andrea [Taylor]; a selection of Reg's handmade papers; an original Doves Press leaf bound into Chapter Three; & the signatures of all contributors"--Colophon. Copies 16-40 are signed by Andrea Taylor. On Heavenly Monkey website (viewed July 18, 2016), copies 1-15 are called "deluxe copies"; copies 16-40 are called "press copies."

Amsterdami : Apud Henricum Dendrinum, 1660; Poems, by Jean Ingelow. London : Longmans, Green, Reader & Dyer, 1867; Hydriotaphia : urne buriall, or A discourse of the sepulchrall urnes lately found in Norfolk, by Sir Thomas Browne. Boston : Printed at the Riverside Press for Houghton, Mifflin & Company, 1907; and Gold : its properties, modes of extraction, value, &c. &c., by F.G. Claudet. Vancouver : Robert Reid & Takao Tanabe, 1958. All printing samples are preceded and followed by translucent guard sheets with letterpress identifying the sample; the first guard sheet of the Doves Press sample contains a caricature of T.J. Cobden-Sanderson made up of letters and type ornaments.
- Small paper sample mounted on page 15. In addition, copies 1-15 contain 6 leaves of samples of four handmade papers, bound in following colophon; letterpress on the first identifies the samples: linen, kozo, gampi and vellum.
- Woodcut portrait of Reg Lissel by Andrea Taylor, commissioned for this work, on page 12. In copies 1-15, there is a copy of the portrait printed chine collé on leaf following the colophon, initialed by Taylor in pencil.
