  • José Limón speaks about his dances The moor's pavane and Concerto grosso as well as (in what may be a separate recording) Doris Humphrey's works Invention and Night Spell. The recording was made in 1952, at an unidentified location. An unidentified female speaker asks Limón a few questions regarding The moor's pavane, but otherwise the format is that of a lecture.
  • Sound quality is good after the first ca. 20 seconds until ca. 1 min. into track 6, when the speaker's voice becomes somewhat softer, but still easily intelligible. There are occasional extraneous noises.
