Summary
Genealogical notes and charts, and Frederick W. Kobbé's genealogical correspondence, ca. 1930s-1940s, on the Kobbé family, and also on the Clarkson, Cornell, Du Bois, Smith, and miscellaneous families. Also, copies and a few originals of 17th through 19th century wills, correspondence, accounts, certificates, receipts, clippings of illustrations of coats of arms, and miscellaneous documents of the above families. Of note are membership certificates issued to Thomas Say of Philadelphia from the American Philosophical Society of Philadelphia, 1817; the Societatis Regiae Physicae Edinburghenae, ca. 1831; Linnean Society, London, 1829; Musuem Philadelphiense, ca. 1821; the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, 1824; and a membership certificate from the Entomological Society of Philadelphia, 1863, to Lucy Say of Newburgh, New York.
