Summary

David Garland interviews tenor saxophonist and composer Ellery Eskelin. They talk about the music and the career of Eskelin's father, the legendary Rodney Keith Eskelin (aka Rodd Rogers or Rodd Keith) who wrote "song-poem" music using sent-in lyrics by non-professional lyricists during the 1960's. Various music selections by Rodd Keith and Ellery Eskelin were also played on the program.
