- Summary
- Warren Patten Coon (1879-1951) was a Methodist minister and a trustee of the Genealogical Society of New Jersey. The collection contains correspondence between Coon and several relatives, circa 1920-1939, along with research notes, genealogical lists, charts and family data sheets that Coon compiled in the course of conducting research on the Coon family, including extensive genealogies of the descendants of David Coon of Shadigee, N.Y. and Daniel Coon of Hopkinton, R.I. The collection also contains draft essays about the Coon family.
