Summary
Jene Youtt interviews Sam Gossard during the renovation of New York City's Shubert Theatre. The interviewee discusses the renovation of the theatre that was built in 1913 and restored in 1996. Also includes press party dedicated to re-opening of the theater that has been designated a New York City landmark. Among speakers are Stephen Sondheim, Bernadette Peters, Gerald Schoenfeld and Rudolph Giuliani. Pianist Patrick Brady plays a medley of songs from musicals performed at the Shubert Theatre.
