- Summary
- Documentary about the Dance Film Academy, a fourteen-day competition held in Wales. Five teams, pairing choreographers and film directors, vie for the opportunity of creating a thirty-minute dance film to be presented on television. The documentary follows the teams as they develop their film pitches under the guidance of Thierry de Mey, the competition's artistic director. They are seen at various stages of the competition: introducing themselves and their projects, working with script doctor Gilly Adams, attending briefings on technical aspects of filmmaking, and confronting the many challenges of artistic collaboration. The jury's critiques, deliberations, and final decision conclude the program.
