- Introduction to Birmingham Alabama Symphony concert. Andre Kostelanetz announces classical program and pays tribute to America's composers and its many fine orchestras -- CBC interview. Hugh Thompson, music editor of the Toronto Daily Star, interviews Andre Kostelanetz's on the occasion of his 30th anniversary in radio. A thoughtful conversation, as Kostelanetz recalls his early career in Russia and memorable train trip across the remote Canadian West that fueled his lifelong enthusiasm for broadcasting -- The Tex and Jinx Show (excerpts). Tex McCrary and Jinx Falkenburg interview Andre Kostelanetz.
