Note
  • The first part (disc 1, track 1- ca. 3:30 min. into track 4) is a recording of the third annual Nimura Award ceremony, held in Suwa, Nagano, Japan, in 1975. Both the second and third annual awards were awarded at the event. Award recipients were Kazuko Hirabayashi (second annual award) and Masahide Komaki (third annual award). Brief biographies of the award recipients were followed by speeches by Hirabayashi and Komaki. The following sections appear to be a dinner reception after the ceremony.
  • The sound quality is fair in the part of the recording comprising the award ceremony. The following section is of poorer quality and marred by frequent extraneous noise.
