- Disc 1, in Japanese: Yeichi Nimura and Onoe Kuroemon (the Kabuki actor and teacher) informally discuss Kabuki, ballet, and their experiences in the U.S. and Europe.
- Disc 2: The first part (track 1- ca. 4:30 min. into track 2 ca. 2:20 min.) is a recording of Nimura reading a letter (dated Nov. 19, 1952) addressed to Ichitaro Takada (?) in English. In the second part (tracks 2-11, in Japanese), Nimura and Takeo Watanabe, a choreographer of Takarazuka Kagekidan (all female revue troupe in Takarazuka-city, Japan) informally discuss Takarazuka, Martha Graham, Arthur Murray, and prices for a dance lesson in New York. The third part (tracks 11-13) is a recording of a radio show in English about a story about planting roses in Japan. The notes in the original box indicate that the recording was made in November 1952.
- The sound quality of disc 1 is poor to fair. There are loud noises throughout the recording, and the voices are not always intelligible. The sound quality of disc 2 is good.
