  • Disc 1: Yoshiko Ishii, a Japanese chanson singer, sings several songs in the English, Japanese, and Spanish languages to piano accompaniment. Yeichi Nimura teaches her choreography to accompany her songs.
  • Disc 2: On tracks 1-5, Yoshiko Ishii and Yeichi Nimura engage in an informal conversation about Japan and their lives in New York. On tracks 6-11, Yoshiko Ishii visits Yeichi Nimura, on a separate occasion, and they engage in an informal general conversation about her career as a singer and her future plans in Japan. Yeichi Nimura states in English that the recording was made on March 3, 1957, and that the following parts of the recording were made during a drama class a few weeks prior to March 3, 1957.
