Note
  • Disc 1: From ca. 1:40 min. of track 1 to track 7, Yeichi Nimura and William Freed (Field?), the manager of Ballet Theatre, engage in conversation. Nimura makes suggestions to Freed (Field?) regarding the planning of performances in Japan. Nimura states in the recording that the recording was made on January 26th. The handwritten notes in the original box indicate that the recording was made in January 1953; however the date on the original box is February 1953. Tracks 8-13 are a recording of radio broadcasts.
  • Disc 2: Yeichi Nimura and Masako Nagata (?) engage in an informal, general conversation regarding Japan, America, and dance. The handwritten notes in the original box and notes on the original box read "Miss Masako Nagata (daughter of Mr. Okura) came first time after the war." In track 8, Nagata leaves, and Nimura has a casual conversation with an unidentified female. There is no conversation on tracks 9-12.
  • The sound quality is good in disc 1, and fair in disc 2.
