Note
  • The disc consists of three recordings from separate occasions.
  • The first part (track 1 ca. 0:40 min. to 2:10 min.) is a very brief recording of a part of a statement by Josephine Baker. The second part (track 1, from ca. 2:40 min., to track 2 ca. 1:10 min.) is a recording of a radio broadcast with Andra McLaughlin, a figure skater. The third part (track 3, from ca. 2:45 min., to track 4, ca. 3:50 min.) appears to be a continuation of the recording from the first part, namely the Josephine Baker statement. The fourth part (track 4, from ca. 3:50 min., to track 6, ca. 3:20 min.) is a recording of a television show in which Dean Crane talks about Yeichi Nimura and his cat dance. The handwritten notes on the original container read "D. Crane and his cat. Interviewing at cat show on TV." and indicate that the recording was made in January, 1952.
