  • Other newsbooks using a title beginning: A continuation of certaine speciall and remarkable passages ..., during Oct.-Nov. 1642, were imitations of this newsbook; the longest-lasting of these was the competing title published by Walter Cook and Robert Wood.
  • There is a counterfeit issue of no. 43, With the title: A continuation of certaine remarkable passages informed to both Houses of Parliament, bearing the imprint: London : printed for F. Lich. and Frances Coll. in the old baylie, 1643.
