Summary
Dennis Hunt interviews Ping Chong, American contemporary theater director, choreographer, video and installation artist (segments 4-5). Chong discusses his theatrical works such as "Children of war", a part of Ping Chong's "Undesirable elements," series which explores history, culture, and ethnicity's effects on individuals and their communities. He talks about young people who experienced war, civil turmoil, and/or domestic trauma. Includes excerpt from the play, exploring the experiences of war through the voice of a refugee childr from Sierra Leone.
