- A bound trade edition was issued by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, New York, in 1969.
- Consists of 19 bifolia, each containing a tipped-in print, comprising t.p. and frontispiece on opposite pages; full-page port. of Whitman; 16 excerpts from poems and 16 prints on opposite pages; and colophon. Two leaves are blank.
- Illustrations: 19 prints on Hosho paper : woodcut, col. ; full-page or smaller. All but a small print above the colophon are signed in pencil.
