- Abel Childs kept this tabulated record of prisoners in the New York State Prison in New York City between 1801 and 1813. He included the prisoners' names, crimes, dates of imprisonment, sentences, and how and when they were discharged. Childs also kept a sample book of textiles woven by prisoners. These two volumes are boxed together.
