- Compilation which started in 1560 as "Certaine notes set forth in foure and three parts" and was eventually published in 1565 as "Mornyng and evenyng prayer and communion."
- Part book for the contratenor part (labeled secundus contratenor).
- Includes works by: T. Caustun, R. Haselton, Heath, Tallis, and others; the first composer is thought to be also the compiler.
- Printed from moveable type throughout: diamond musical notation, words in Gothic type, tail-pieces, initials.
- Each part has its own t.p. with title in decorative frame and name of part at head of title.
- Reproduction of woodcut portrait of the publisher on imprint page, dated 1562.
