Ralph Lee discusses meeting and working with Erick Hawkins; creating masks for Lords of Persia, Plains daybreak, and Killer-of-enemies; how they collaborated; Mr. Lee's use of balsa wood and its qualities; maintaining the masks; a story about Lucia Dlugoszewski and Hawkins coming over to Lee's to look at his masks and Dlugoszewski adding elements to some of them; and concludes with Lee talking about Hawkins becoming more human as he got older and a description of the ending of the work, Plains daybreak.
