- Summary
- The Joseph St. Prix Collection consists of a ledger for a shoe repair business owned by Joseph St. Prix and Anderson Joseph, known as Joseph & St. Prix, located in Philadelphia. The ledger lists expenditures and receipts for the business. The first page of the ledger contains partial minutes for a meeting, presumably of the Philadelphia Division of the United Negro Improvement Association. Additional material includes several copies of a flyer advertising the shoe repair business; a flyer for another of St. Prix's businesses, Colver & St. Prix, Grocers; and a few letters and notes relating to business matters.
