A tribute to the legendary composer of songs and musicals, Irving Berlin, traces his path to stardom and successful career. Excerpts from films and shows include such performers as Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Tyrone Power, Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Ethel Merman, and Al Jolson. Some of the commentators are also performers in those excerpts.
