- Summary
- Martin Aronstein speaks about the beginning of his career as a lighting designer, and his experience working with Joseph Papp during the New York Shakespeare Festival, New York, N. Y. from 1957. He reminisces about beginning as a backstage worker for the Festival and eventually becoming a principal lighting designer of dozens of productions, both at the theater's downtown Manhattan home and at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, the position he held until 1976, due to Papp's efforts.
