- Summary
- David Mitchell speaks about the beginning of his career as a scenic designer and his experience working with Joseph Papp during the New York Shakespeare Festival, New York, N. Y. in 1970's. He reminisces about beginning as an assistant to Ming Cho Lee (set designer of the Delacorte Theatre in Central Park at that time) and eventually becoming a long-time set designer of various productions, both at the theater's downtown Manhattan home and at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park, due to Papp's efforts.
