The text is based on treatises written by eight theatre "philosophers" and their discussion of the art of acting. These teachers are: Aristotle, Adolphe Appia, Konstantin Stanislavky, Antonin Artaud, Bertolt Brecht, Jerzy Grotowski, Peter Brook, and Anne Bogart. The mixed media piece opened June 4, 2009, as a Theater Mitu presentation at Three-Legged Dog Productions' facility 3LD Art and Technology Center, 80 Greenwich Street, New York, N.Y.
