- Estelle Parsons, an American theater, film and television actress, talks about her career as an actress on the New York stage and as director of a company of young actors in Shakespearean roles in an effort to bring the Bard to NYC schoolchildren. She shares her memories about Joseph Papp and her experience working with him on classical and modern productions such as Shakespeare's Anthony and Cleopatra and Mert and Phil (written by Anne Burr ; directed by Joseph Papp, which was played at the Vivian Beaumont Theater at Lincoln Center) during the New York Shakespeare Festival in the 1970's-1980's.
