Ginsberg read his long narrative poem mourning his mother's insanity and death only a few times publicly. Mather adapted it with musical underscoring and was reviewed Aug. 25, 2009, as part of the New York International Fringe Festival at HERE Arts Center, 145 Sixth Avenue, New York, N.Y.
