Summary
Meredith Monk performs songs from her various works, including Songs from the hill (Porch, Wa-lie-oh), and Light songs (Click song no. 1). She is then joined by Katie Geissinger and they perform duets from Volcano songs (Walking song, Lost wind, Hips dance). Monk and Geissinger are joined by other members of Monk's ensemble and they perform selections from Atlas (Future quest, Choosing companions, Agricultural community, Ice demons, Desert tango, Return to Earth), Ya-min-na-neya, and an excerpt from the Night section of The Politics of quiet.
