Summary
While discussing his low budget film "The line" based on the true story of a Vietnam war deserter, Siegel dwells on his own anti-war feelings and thoughts. Virginia Largent, his co-producer, joins in. Siegel recounts the efforts put into the production, the enthusiastic reaction of the public in NYC and Cannes at its screening, and talks about actors and their performance and the difficulties of promoting such productions in the US.
