- Includes professional notebook and loose teaching notes of Eileen Adair, a dancer and teacher of modern dance.
- Also includes correspondence between Eileen Adair and Irma Duncan, and from others; an unattributed typescript entitled A brief history of the Duncan schools (1978); pencil sketches of Adair; and Adair's transcriptions of dances she learned in Irma Duncan's classes (circa 1934). These handwritten notes are on loose pages; annotation on the original wrapping reads: "Eileen's Original Notes on I.D. Dances Made while Attending Irma Duncan's Classes." Folder also holds an essay about Adair by Nana Ticatin (aka Ticotin) entitled Isadora Duncan dancing on the WPA, in which Adair reminisces about studying and teaching dance through WPA-sponsored programs.
