- Includes a letter (Sept. 2, 1996) from Josephine Schwarz, co-founder of Dayton Ballet School and Dayton Ballet, to dance critic Jack Anderson, with Schwarz' reminiscence of George Balanchine and her efforts to acquire permission to include his Concerto barocco among Dayton Ballet's repertoire.
- Also includes note to dance historian George Dorris (1992) and annotated print material for the exhibit 200 years of Dayton artists, which includes a photograph by Jane Reece of Josephine Schwarz and her sister, Hermene.
