Cover constructed of crumpled paper painted green and brown. Text printed in black on white paper, and painted is collaged over crumpled cover paper. Publisher, on p. [4] of cover appears within 2 fishes, and series title appears within Vigía lamp. P. [1] of cover has raised circle painted yellow within which is situated an open blue eye. The circle appears to represent a dream catcher, having cotton threads forming a tail, with a rock pasted over it, that seems to shadow the painted brown tails coming off the yellow circle. Front cover flap contains information about the author printed in black on white paper and affixed to flap. Back cover flap has hole through which threads connect to cutout of paper fish with huge human eye as head which contains the copy number. Decorative endpapers have black design on white paper. Text of book is printed on both white bond and heavier tan paper, all of which have decorative borders, except for the music printed on white bond at the end of the text. Whole-page illustrations appear every so often.
