Summary
Mewborn interviews Palmer in Buffalo where she is performing the part of Elizabeth in Countess Dracula at Studio Theater. Palmer recounts her upbringing, arrival in NY in 1951, the beginning and advancement of her acting career, work on TV and comeback to stage, and numerous roles she played in comedies, dramas and television programs. She recalls many acquaintances and in particular her friendship with Tennessee Williams in whose play The eccentricities of a nightingale she acted. The interview proceeds with lengthy analysis of Palmer's present character in Countess Dracula.
