- Traditionally attributed to Saint Jerome, but a compilation from various sources, mainly Greek, of legendary biographies and other material about early Christian saints, particularly those known as the Desert Fathers and Desert Mothers.

- Includes the Pratum spirituale of John Moschus, in the Italian translation of Feo Belcare after the translation from the original Greek into Latin by Ambrogio Traversari. Begins (page [313]): "Incomincia il Prato spirituale de sa[n]cti padre co[m]posto da sancto Gioa[n]i Euerato: e ma[n]dato al suo i[n] Christo Sophroni o sophista."
