Summary
The phone interview is mainly between Stewart in L.A. and Mewborn in N.Y.; Lenox is on the phone for only the first 8 minutes during which she expresses frustration about some editorial regarding them (the duo of The Eurythmics) prepared by an unidentified record company, and conveys her thoughts for the article Mewborn is about to write. In the following interview with Stewart, Mewborn provides the outline of the article and Stewart helps him trace the history of The Eurythmics to The Tourists, recounts ups and downs on the road to stardom, talks about his personal and professional relationship with Lennox, discusses their mutual and solo albums, and shares details for the further development of their career. He also explains what prompted the forthcoming album to be titled Revenge.
