Nina Lathrop discusses the creation of the Welland Lathrop Memorial Walk in the Buena Vista Park, San Francisco, Calif. that she initiated by calling the Parks Dept. to recommend building a walkway that would bypass the hills for her husband, Welland Lathrop, and other residents not able to walk up hills and concludes with Nina Lathrop and her son Mark walking on the Memorial Walk.
