Summary

Meredith Monk performs songs from Education of the girlchild (The Tale), Songs from the hill (Wa-lie-oh, Insect, Insect decending), Light songs (Click song no. 1). She is joined by Theo Bleckmann and they perform songs from Facing north (Hocket, Long shadows). Monk and Bleckmann are then joined by members of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir [i.e. Eesti Filharmoonia Kammerkoor] and they perform songs from Atlas (Other worlds revealed), Quarry (Quarry weave no. 2), and The Games (Panda chant no. 2). Performance intercut with interview footage with Meredith Monk and members of the Estonian performing arts community, including Peeter Jalakas and Rein Rannap.
