1 art original : paper, plastic, brass; 87 x 21 cm., folded to 15 x 21 cm.
Summary
  • Title and name of artist from pencil inscription on slipcase.
  • Signed and dated by the artist in silver ink on outside of first panel.
  • A folding strip of 6 panels, formed from 6 sheets of black flexible plastic decorated in shades of dark gray with a pattern resembling paste paper and joined with strips of black cloth. Mounted on each of the first 5 panels are 2 "paper reliefs," which consist of multiple contoured layers of die-cut thin white paper shapes resembling human or animal faces in profile, secured by means of thin brass rods attached with thread at left and right margins. The last panel has 2 holes at top margin, so that the work may be hung for display. When folded, the work is secured with 2 black cloth ties.
