- Summary
- The initial idea to embellish the new building of the VGH insurance company in Hannover with art acquisitions gave rise to a significant collection that has developed considerably over the past twenty years. It consists exclusively of works by artists with a strong regional connection to Lower Saxony - who were born there, live there or who have otherwise given a vital artistic impulse to the region. So far, more than eighty artists have been thus supported a welcome reason to compile a catalogue to flank the collection and offer the very first overview of the works shown at VGH.
