- Summary
- Logan, a theater and film director, talks about the benefits of his trip around the world that enabled him to experience diverse styles of the theater, and see life and culture in various countries which are reflected in the theater. He describes the poverty in India, the dramatic performance he saw in Calcutta, the belly-dancing show in Egypt, and the dramatic and shocking manner of Kabuki in Japan that produced the most profound impression on him. Logan and the audience discuss the employment of such intense type of acting for the projection of extreme emotions and situations on stage. He continues by analyzing the essence of playwriting and constructing captivating stories that would get the public's attention, and in order to illustrate it, he shares some of his professional experiences.
