  • Although the term "tai chi" is now more familiar, the speakers in this recording use the term "T'ai chi ch'uan ". In addition, "T'ai chi ch'uan " is the romanization used in the spelling of the title of the book on tai chi by Sophia Delza referred to in the interview. For these reasons, the term and spelling "T'ai chi ch'uan " are used in the summary.
