  • The American Tract Society was first located at 150 Nassau St., New York, in 1832. A new typeface was introduced in 1848 and the layout of this imprint complies with the new typeface (c.f. Dating American Tract Society Publications Through 1876 from External Evidences: A Series of Tables, by S.J. Wolfe, cataloger, American Antiquarian Society). The advertisement on the lower wrapper gives the address for the American Tract Society (Boston, Mass.) at 40 Cornhill.
