- Summary
- Each vol. consists of t.p., colophon leaf, and respectively 45, 54, 35, 47 and 14 leaves of illustrations, each preceded by a strip of white paper bearing a country code. The ill. are squares composed of vertical strips of colored marking foil, the widths of which are based on the proportions of various colors in the state and national flags of the countries covered by the volume; the preceding strips bear the relevant country code from ISO 3166, the standard for country codes published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
