- Recording of class taught by Ted Shawn at the Jacob's Pillow, in Lee, Mass., around 1952. Track 1 though track 3 consists almost entirely of unidentified piano music. Beginning with track 4, the recording consists of Shawn's directions and instructions to the class and the piano accompaniment.

- Sound quality is fair. There is some distortion in the sound due to deterioration of the original recording as well as extraneous noise and occasional gaps. However, for the most part, Ted Shawn's voice is intelligible.
