- Tribute (music, César Franck, Symphonic variations), a ballet for three couples, was first choreographed by Frederic Franklin for the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo in 1962. It was performed by American Ballet Theatre II in 1983. These designs, from the collection of Richard Englund, were created during his tenure as artistic director of American Ballet Theatre II, which he founded in 1972 under the name Ballet Repertory Company.
- In addition to her achievements as a costume designer, Gretchen Ward Warren has enjoyed a multi-faceted career as professional dancer; ballet teacher and author of the books Classical ballet technique (1989) and The art of teaching (1996); researcher; producer; and photographer. She has been a professor of dance in the College of the Arts at the University of South Florida, Tampa, since 1983.
