Summary
Sheet music cover illustration depicting a crowded and somewhat unruly ballroom. Some of the dancers appear to be wearing fancy-dress costumes; a woman at right wears a black half-mask. A man at foreground right holds out his right hand and curves his left arm to protect his partner, who is sitting on the floor. His face, like many of the others in this image, is exaggerated in features and expression.
