- Summary
- Pieces for four two-dimensional jointed paper puppets, intended to be cut out and assembled. The top two puppets are the commedia dell'arte characters Pierrot and Pierrette. Both hold their hands with forefingers pointed upward in a gesture that has become a convention in European ballet depictions of Chinese dancing.
