- James Musser is the proprietor of Skyline Books (Mill Valley, Calif.).
- Informs Musser that his brother, Jack Hoffman, is also a book seller and has copies of Abbie Hoffman's Steal This Book, reprints and first editions, that Jack could sell to Musser, offering a variety of business arrangements. He also offers to sell Musser an audio tape cassette of talks given in 1982 at the 25th anniversary of the publication of Jack Kerouac's On the Road, by Timothy Leary, Allen Ginsberg, William Burroughs, and Hoffman, moderated by Paul Krassner, on "The Political Fall-Out of the Beat Generation." He also mentions the planned facsimile edition by Regent Press of the Counterculture journal The San Francisco Oracle (1991).
